Lurking, lurking, lurking deep inside of me

its job is to protect the expansiveness of me.

It doubts. It hurts. It fears.  It stops me from

being all that I can BE.

Magnificent Me!

“Auntie”, My God daughter Chinazor starts.  “I have taken myself off of facebook.”  It seems that my 15-year-old inspiration has determined that this form of socializing is, “addictive” and “time consuming.”

She has plans.

She is going to become a cardio neurological surgeon and a bio-engineer so that she can heal people and make lives better.

This summer at 15 she was in the operating room volunteering.  “I got to touch cancer cells!” she says with the glee that most teenagers would have over having the whole summer off.

She is walking towards her vision with passion placing each foot solidly in front of the other. She has not a worry that any of her choice of schools will no less than covet her presence.  These schools include:  Stanford, USC, John Hopkins, Yale, Berkley and more.

It was a day that was truly magnificent, splendid and awe inspiring.  More than once I was reminded to catch this wave of youthful exuberance, trust, faith and unwavering belief in Self.

Through God all things are possible.  Today I was reminded that the first step comes through me by remembering that I am all that I Am.
